Tropical Gold Seeds sells to everyone: home gardeners buying a single packet, commercial growers, and retail stores and distributors buying wholesale.

Orders are charged in US dollars. Trinidad and Tobago dollar figures are shown alongside as a guide.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and other major credit and debit cards. Payment is taken in advance. Wholesale customers may also pay by bank or wire transfer.

Buying as a home gardener or professional grower (retail)

There is no minimum order. Buy one packet or a hundred. Add what you want to the cart and check out.

Buying wholesale (retail stores and seed distributors)

Minimum order: 500 packets in total.
Each variety is ordered in multiples of 10 — 10 of a variety, or 20, or 30, and so on. Ten packets per variety is the smallest quantity of any one seed.
Professional Farmers varieties — minimum order value US$1,000 (TT$7,000).
First wholesale order: 15% discount. Wholesale orders only. Not available on retail orders and cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions.
Approved retail stores and distributors are given a discount code that sets their pricing.

Delivery in Trinidad & Tobago

We ship anywhere in Trinidad & Tobago. Delivery is a flat US$5.50 (TT$40) per order and is added at checkout. Orders are processed within 7 days where items are in stock.

Orders from outside Trinidad & Tobago — wholesale only

Retail orders on this website are delivered to an address in Trinidad & Tobago — you may pay from anywhere in the world, but the delivery address must be in Trinidad. We also supply wholesale customers anywhere. Wholesale orders are arranged with us directly, not through automatic checkout, because freight, phytosanitary certificates and administrative fees can increase your cost on the order. We would rather tell you the real total before you pay anything.

Build your cart and send it to us, or simply tell us what you need.
We price the order including freight, phytosanitary certificates and fees, and call or email you with the full total.
If you are happy with it, we will send you an invoice. Nothing is charged until you agree.
We arrange the paperwork and ship by DHL or FedEx.

What a wholesale customer outside Trinidad & Tobago should know:

Import Permit — most countries require one. Getting it is your responsibility, and shipments without it are held or refused. Ask your local Ministry of Agriculture before you order; this is the single biggest cause of delay.
Phytosanitary Certificate — if your country requires one, we obtain it. The cost is US$40 (TT$300) and is added to your quote.

Payment and returns

Payment is taken in advance.
All purchases are final. Seeds are a perishable, living product; once they leave us we cannot verify how they have been stored, so we do not accept returns or exchanges. See our Refund Policy.
Insurance is applied to wholesale shipments, or on request.

Seed warranty and limitation of liability

We warrant that the seed we sell conforms to the label description. We make no other warranties, expressed or implied. In all cases our liability for breach of any warranty with respect to such seeds is limited to the purchase price of such seeds.
